Delta-Q Technologies to Showcase High Power Charging Solutions at Bauma

Charging solutions leader, Delta-Q Technologies, will feature two products delivering between 1.5 kW to 22 kW that meet the challenging application demands of construction equipment

VANCOUVER, B.C., (OCT 11, 2022) – Delta-Q Technologies (Delta-Q), a leader in battery charging solutions for electric drive vehicles and industrial equipment, announced it will exhibit its full range of charging solutions (1.5 kW to 22 kW) for the construction industry at bauma. The trade show will take place in Munich, Germany on October 24-30, 2022.

Delta-Q, recognized for its mid-power (1.5 kW to 7 kW) charging solutions, is now offering higher-powered options of up to 22 kW. The company will showcase the ICL1500, a 1.5 kW charger that can deliver up to 7.5 kW of power, and the XV3300, a three-in-one charging solution delivering up to 22 kW.

“These charging solutions meet the demands from our OEM customers for higher charging power and voltage,” said Lloyd Gomm, VP of Business Development, Delta-Q. “Like our entire product line, the ICL1500 and XV3300 address the unique design and operating requirements of construction OEMs looking for electrification solutions. We are delighted to showcase these offerings as part of the ZAPI GROUP at bauma.”

ICL1500: Modular Charging Solution Delivering up to 7.5 kW

The ICL1500 meets OEMs’ needs for charging solutions that are modular, scalable and can be distributed across their vehicle or equipment. The ICL1500 is integrated with Delta-Q’s stackable charging software that allows OEMs to link two to six ICL1500 chargers together to create charging solutions that can deliver up to 7.5 kW. The stackable design gives OEMs the flexibility to use the solution as an on-board charger, off-board charger or a combination of the two.

The ICL1500 is a 1.5 kW charger available in 85V and 120V models. The 85V models can optimally charge lithium battery systems from 14 to 24 cells in series; the 120V models charge systems from 21 to 34 cells in series. Within those designated ranges, both models work with various lithium-ion chemistries.

XV3300: 3-in-1 Charging Solution Delivering up to 22 kW

Built for tough automotive and non-road mobile machinery applications like construction, the XV3300 is a three-in-one charging system that is compact, scalable and reliable. Its unique three-in-one design combines a high-performance 3.3 kW charger, a 500W DC-DC converter and an EV charging station interface compliant with SAE J1772 (level 1 and 2) and IEC 61851 (mode 2 and 3). This feature allows it to charge from standard EV AC charging stations across North America and Europe.

Delta-Q designed the XV3300 to scale to meet high power demands and provide both fast-charging options and usage in heavy-duty vehicles. It is also equipped with Delta-Q’s stackable charging software, enabling OEMs to parallel the charger to provide up to 22 kW for their high power needs. The XV3300 comes in a highly compact package, making it an ideal solution for construction vehicle electrification.

The ICL1500 and XV3300 chargers remain true to Delta-Q’s automotive-grade manufacturing and quality standards. These products reflect the core qualities of ruggedness, robustness and long life that make Delta-Q the preferred charging partner for tier-1 OEMs worldwide.

Delta-Q will be at the bauma ZAPI GROUP booth A4115 with product samples and to answer questions about their full range of charging solutions for the construction industry.
