iVT Expo USA 2023 Recap

iVT Expo USA 2023 Recap

iVT Expo is a growing technical conference focused on off-road industrial vehicle technology, held twice a year – in Cologne, Germany, in the spring, and in Chicago, USA, in late summer. It offers a significant opportunity for Delta-Q and other product companies within the ZAPI GROUP to engage with highly qualified prospects and existing customers in the construction, agriculture, outdoor power equipment (OPE), and material handling sectors, which consists of material handling and mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP).

Delta-Q co-exhibited under the ZAPI GROUP banner alongside Inmotion USA, Zivan, Schabmueller, and ZAPI USA.

From an educational standpoint, our product-centric team members had the opportunity to attend technical sessions that place considerable emphasis on implementation, development, and improving the efficiency of off-road machines and vehicles.

Special mention for this event:

  • The new RQ700 battery charger was featured as part of our multi-channel promotional efforts.
  • Chris Botting, Delta-Q’s Manager of Research Engineering, presented a seminar on battery charger efficiency regulations.
  • Rod Dayrit, our Global Director of Business Development, was part of an industry panel (which included experts from CNH Industrial and Caterpillar) that discussed US decarbonization incentives for industrial vehicles. Both sessions were well attended, exceeding 75 attendees.

About iVT Expo USA

The iVT Expo USA took place for the second time in 2023, It exhibits next-generation technology for electric and hybrid industrial vehicles, plus cab designs and components, powertrains, hydraulics, materials, testing equipment, and autonomous & self-guided systems know-how. The show is the work of Tony Robinson, the founder of Industrial Vehicle Technology International magazine (now published separately by Mark Allen Group), who says, “The other big differentiator is that they put on specialist design and engineering events specifically for the design and engineering community. It’s about attending an event specifically for finding technology solutions, supply chain partners and new concepts. There will be no OEM vehicle exhibits, only Tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers. No huge complexity, just 100 exhibitors that visitors can get around in a day, then return to their offices full of new possibilities.”
