Delta-Q is pleased to announce that Polaris Industries has selected Delta-Q’s QuiQ chargers for two of their new electric vehicles. The Ranger EV uses our on-board 48V QuiQ-dci charger and the Breeze uses our off-board 48V QuiQ charger with a customized DC plug system.
The Polaris Ranger EV
The RANGER EV is an off-road side-by-side utility vehicle built specifically for clean and quiet operation. With the largest battery pack in the industry (11.5 kilowatt-hours), the longest range of any electric Midsize vehicle (up to 50 miles in “max range” mode), and a 25 mph top speed, RANGER EV is the leader of its electric mid-sized Side-by-Side class. When creating RANGER EV, Polaris challenged a common misconception that consumers have to give up performance or work-ability when choosing an electric vehicle. With a 500 lb. cargo box, 1,250 lb. towing capacity, and 1,000 lb. total payload (same as the gas powered RANGER 400) Polaris has given RANGER EV the same Hardest Working Smoothest Riding attributes of its other RANGER vehicles. The Polaris® Breeze™
The Polaris Breeze is a new electric-powered neighborhood vehicle that’s a fun and fuel-saving alternative for drivers making trips around a master planned community. The exclusive MyChoice™ rear-seat-conversion allows the Breeze to easily adapt from use as a golf cart, a passenger vehicle for up to four, or a cargo carrier. Designed for great comfort, the Breeze features adjustable seating, a spacious cab, and an advanced suspension for the smoothest possible ride. The Breeze delivers many practical features including retractable seat belts, plenty of storage, and hi-/lo-beam headlights. Going up to 50-mile range of use between charges, the Breeze is always ready for your next adventure. For more information, click here: Polaris Breeze.
