BURNABY, BC, CANADA, March 8, 2016—Delta-Q Technologies, a leader in onboard battery charging solutions for electric lift trucks and material handling vehicles, announced that it will show its new IC900 and IC1200 industrial battery chargers at LogiMAT 2016.
LogiMAT is being held in Stuttgart, Germany from 8-10 March 2016. Delta-Q is exhibiting in hall 8, stand F21.
The new IC900 and IC1200 chargers combine with the existing IC650 charger to form the IC Series charging platform for use with in electric lift trucks (pallet trucks and ride-on pallet jacks) and other material handling vehicles, including automated guided vehicles (AGVs), utility vehicles and burden carriers.
IC Series chargers are designed and built for superior onboard reliability. In its review of the IC650, Electronics Design News said the IC650 is “built like a tank.” Their IP66-rated ingress protection seals out dirt and fluids, while mechanical design and component selection help resist factors such as vibration, shock and temperature extremes. All Delta-Q chargers are built in a Flex facility for high reliability solutions. The IC900 and IC1200 are slated to begin production in March 2016, orders are being taken now.
The IC650, IC900 and IC1200 battery chargers are compact, sealed and lightweight—ideal products for onboard applications such as lift trucks and utility vehicles. An on-board charger provides the convenience of plugging a lift truck into the nearest electrical outlet. In North America, customers such as The Raymond Corporation, EnerSys, Exide and Deka have adopted the IC650 charger for use within electric pallet jacks.
The three models in the IC Series provide 650, 900 and 1200 watts of DC output power, respectively, and all are available in 24-, 36- and 48-volt models. All have wide AC input ranges (85-270 V AC) for use globally on single phase electrical grids.
