Full Production Begins for Delta-Q Technologies IC900 and IC1200 Industrial Battery Chargers

VANCOUVER, B.C., – Delta-Q Technologies, producers of innovative battery charging solutions for electric vehicles and industrial machines, announced that their IC900 and IC1200 battery chargers have begun full-scale production.

We are pleased to achieve this milestone.” says Trent Punnett, VP of Product Management, Marketing and Corporate Development, “With IC900 and IC1200 battery chargers going into full scale production, we can start to fulfill the substantial demand that we’ve received since we announced these products.”

Delta-Q Technologies is partnered with Flex (formerly Flextronics) for their contract manufacturing services. Flex’s ‘High Reliability’ division is responsible for manufacturing Delta-Q products to automotive quality levels. Products made in these facilities are required to have very low defect rates and long service lives.

The IC900 and IC1200 provide 900 and 1200 watts of DC output power, respectively, and are available in 24-, 36- and 48-volt models. Applicable market categories include aerial work platforms, low-speed electric vehicles (LSEVs), light e-mobility, utility vehicles, fleet and specialty golf cars, and more.

These new higher-power models expand on the IC650 offering, to create the IC Series line. All IC Series chargers are sealed, built for reliability, and record critical charge data, such as power returned to the battery, charge cycle completion or interruption, and the charge profile being used.

Delta-Q products provide “charge quality” for lithium-ion and lead acid batteries using profiles developed in Delta-Q’s battery lab. These high-performance profiles balance battery life, longevity and charge time requirements. Delta-Q has commercialized over 190 charge profiles, ensuring that users experience better runtime and flexibility for different battery chemistries.

Delta-Q chargers also carry a comprehensive set of global regulatory approvals, and cabling, to be used in any single-phase electrical grid around the world. For specific product details about their IC Series chargers, visit www.delta-q.com/products.
