VANCOUVER, B.C. – On April 28, 2016, Delta-Q Technologies, a leader in battery charging solutions for electric vehicles and industrial machines, announced their participation in Jeans Day in support of the British Columbia (BC) Children’s Hospital Foundation.
With funds allocated to research, specialized equipment, and health promotion, the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation is an organization focused on improving the health and lives of young patients, being cared for, at the BC Children’s Hospital. Last year, more than 84,000 children were treated at the facility.
“It’s been our pleasure to participate in this event for the past 5 years,” says Sasha Kuber, Delta-Q’s HR Generalist, “It’s a great cause, and our employees are more than happy to get behind it. Especially since many of our employees have personally been touched by the incredible work done at BC Children’s Hospital.”
In addition to the Jeans Day donations, other fundraising events were planned by their Social Committee. Employees at Delta-Q participated in a company-wide by-donation barbeque and a table tennis tournament, with the proceeds all going towards the Foundation.
Delta-Q Technologies is driven by a passion to make a difference in the world, which is why their employees give generously to this event. This year, their employees have raised over 650 dollars in donations for the Foundation.
