Delta-Q Technologies to introduce QuiQ 1500 Industrial Battery Charger at Golf Industry Show

SAN ANTONIO, TX USA, Feb. 18, 2015 – Delta-Q Technologies, a leader in battery charging solutions for electric drive vehicles and industrial machines, today announced that the company will introduce the new QuiQ 1500 Battery Charger at the Golf Industry Show.

The QuiQ 1500 is a higher-power, 1500 Watt model added to the popular QuiQ Industrial Battery Charger line, found on popular Club Car, E-Z-GO, and Yamaha golf cars and utility vehicles. The new charger is available in 48 and 72 Volt DC models and will begin shipping in June 2015.

The QuiQ 1500 allows users to charge up to 30 percent faster than existing QuiQ models and provides the flexibility of charging higher capacity battery packs. The QuiQ 1500 matches the exact dimensions and mounting configuration of the existing QuiQ and is approved for use in on- or off-board vehicle applications. “We are pleased to offer our OEM and after-market customers a simple upgrade path to our popular QuiQ charger line,” said Lloyd Gomm, Vice President of Business Development. “Customers will be able to use the higher power QuiQ 1500 as a drop in replacement in any application where the existing QuiQ is used.”

GIS attendees can visit Delta-Q at booth 25017 and have their questions about the company’s charging solutions answered by Delta-Q’s experts.

Every Delta-Q charger provides users with tremendous flexibility and performance for charging lead acid and lithium batteries.
